SEE YOUR NAME IN LIGHTS!

Become a festival sponsor or host a screening

Welcome to the 2010 Chicago Festival of Israeli Cinema (CFIC), the largest showcase of Israeli films in the Midwest. Join us from October 21 - 31, as we as we celebrate the REEL REAL ISRAEL. We are in the process of selecting films which dazzled audiences at international film festivals from South Africa, Hong Kong, Toronto, Pusan, Sao Paulo, Cannes to Tribeca, Zurich, Hamburg, Berlin, Rio de Janeiro, Winnipeg, and Jerusalem and over fifty other world centers. Our contenders have won awards at festivals all over the world.

The CFIC celebrates the multifaceted sides of Israel with stories far from the news headlines of Israeli Sumo wrestlers, Ethiopian Hip-Hop prayers, the power of dance over age, the forces that separate brothers and bring them together, and the Israeli military through the eyes of beautiful young women. Last year, our celebration of Israel's Cinematic achievements was a sold out success, with almost 5,000 viewers. This year, with an abundant selection of award-winning films on subjects as varied as the human imagination, we look forward to even bigger crowds.

Become a festival sponsor or screening host and help enrich the Chicago community's appreciation of Israeli culture and society, support the future of Israel's film industry, and see your name in lights. I will be happy to discuss the opportunities with you.

See you at the movies!
